I am an amateur Scottish landscape photographer with an interest in the making of visual narratives, and how such narrratives are shapped by the absence of what is excluded from our photographs.
I work primarily with traditional B&W film and darkroom processes, preferring large format (4"x5") view cameras, but based on the subject and circumstances I use other film sizes as well (I am still working out a satisfactory way of carrying a large format camera on a bicycle!).
My photographs are generally taken with a view to making prints rather than for online viewing, and I gravitate toward printing at larger sizes, normally at least 16"x12" (~A3), and, preferably, 16"x20" (~A2).
Oh, and my name is Tomas Frydrych, though friends just call me 'tf'.
